July 1st, 2017 one of our favorite dates. Linh Tran & Jesses Stroh‘s jubilant day of nuptials was beyond romantic, beyond exquisite and plush! Overlooking the cobalt-blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, The Westin Maui Resort & Spa on legendary Ka’anapali Beach seemed the ideal island getaway for this inspired union. And boy was it! Classy wedding manager Brittany McIntyre (Cell – 808-344-4403) kept the day’s events running like a well-oiled machine as Coordinators Erin Lau and Leslee Schmidt (Office – 808-661-2921) corralled immaculate wedding-dress and handsome tuxes when necessary. Other talented outfits contributing to the happiness included ‘Paradise Event Rentals’ and ‘Rio Event Design.’ Both really amplifying the ambiance. ‘Cake Fanatics’ supplied the gorgeous edible centerpiece. STEP THREE: Once the deposit is received, the fun begins! Your Westin Wedding Coordinators will send you a checklist, calendar, and vendor list to keep you on track throughout the planning process. You’ll start with selecting a photographer, videographer, officiant, musician, and DJ, if needed, and move on to selecting florals, STEP FOUR: Once all vendor details and menus are confirmed, your Westin Wedding Coordinator will prepare a preliminary estimate for you – 50% of your total
STEP FIVE: Once you have all RSVPs collected and finalized, your Westin Wedding Coordinator will send a final invoice for you – 100% of of your total Hawaii Marriage License Requirement
• A marriage license from the state of Hawaii is required. There are several marriage license agents on Maui that will issue your license. Please note that most agents are not open on weekends or state and local holidays. There is a $65 Marriage Licensing Application fee paid directly to the State of Hawaii and a $5 cash fee paid to the Marriage Licensing Agent.
• Both individuals must be 18 years of age and single
• Valid photo identification is required (a driver’s license is adequate identification for US citizens or a passport for non-US citizens)
• Hawaii has no residency requirements or waiting period, however we recommend arriving with at least 1 full business day between your arrival & your wedding, to ensure you have time to visit the local marriage license office.
Blood tests are not required.
